What I did for my birthday

Ryan had to work from 11 to 5 so I decided that I wanted to go to the swimming pool and bask in the sun. I decided I would take Ryan's birthday present with me, The Vampire Chronicles by Ann Rice, and do some reading while I was there. I went around noon and about an hour later while I was reading, I heard someone say my name. Ryan got off early!! So we went and ran a few errands for his vending machines and went to dinner at a cute Chinese restaurant that was really yummy. Then we got home and decided to go on a hike. We took Molly and went up North to the mountains by the University. We had a really good time and I was surprised by my family when they called and sang happy birthday to me. I had a really good time and the view was magnificent! Then we went home and watched a movie of my choice. Im happy to say that I had a really good birthday. Here are some pictures of the hike we went on. They're from my cell phone, so I hope they turn out!

They are great pictures from your phone. The pictures of the Salt Lake Valley reminded me of when my Dad, Grandpa Blake, and I used to hike up the cottonwood mountains. The valley still looks hazy like it did back when. Grandpa Blake loved to find old mines and then he and I would go down the tailings. One big step at a time. I loved those times with Grandpa.

No we weren't sore, we had played tennis a week back and I think that helped. We sure were sore after tennis though.

I got my pictures off by using the cord that plugs into my camera.. they both have the same plug so it worked!
