The Biltmore

I was able to fly home for spring break this year.  I had so much fun with my family.  I can't believe it is already over.

While there we took an 8 hour jaunt to North Carolina and visited the Biltmore.  It is the largest home in America and it was pretty impressive.  Here are some photos that I took.

It had very beautiful architecture

A side view

This is the only picture I got of the inside of the mansion.  We were on the top floor looking down the grand staircase.

The view from the top of the hill looking down

We went back for a second day to view the gardens.  I think McKay was tired.

More wisteria.  It was all over the place.  Beautiful.

The Gatehouse

What a neat place.  I can't even imagine living there.  The rooms were cosy but there were so many of them.  I would've gotten lost for a while before being able to find my way around.

It was a great trip and I enjoyed going immensely.

Thank you everyone! I decided that I would have to blog with all those fun pictures. I did take my camera with me a few other times but didn't take that many more pictures.

I really love my camera. I think it does a great job as well. I was really excited to have all those flowers to try it out on. McKay kept asking why mom and I were taking so many pictures of flowers. Haha. I just really wanted to see how the camera would do.
