I finally put some of my pictures on the computer and found these! My friend and her fiance invited Ryan and me to go boating with them on Utah Lake. They had wake boards and a special surf board for "wake surfing" and Ryan was able to bring some water skis to play on.
The camera did NOT do very well taking photos. But bear with me because it sure was fun!
You hold onto a rope that is only about 5 feet away from the boat so that you can ride the wake that the boat creates. The boat starts moving and you basically just stand up.
The surf board had a really grippy surface so your feet could hold on.
I was a little nervous about it but it was surprisingly easy. (My legs begged to differ the next day!)
And here is a video that was taken on it's side. I have NO CLUE how to rotate it so watch at you own risk!
And here are some pictures of Ryan in the water ready to water ski. Yes, bad pictures. My apologies. At least we've got a sexy subject!!

I'm so glad you blogged...because being at work at 7:00 am doesnt give me much to do...it was really nice to have some blogs to read :)
Looks like you had so much fun! I love boating/water sports!!! Makes me excited for next summer 'cause then I actually can do the water sports since I was pregnant this last summer so I couldn't do anything other than just sit on the boat :)
Oh Halley . . . I hope you keep blogging! A fun post . . . .
You did a great job on that wake board!
by the way . . . I don't think you CAN flip a video clip . . . I hate it when I forget and take those videos in the wrong position!!!
That is really kewel Halley. I loved it when we had our boat and I could watch everyone have fun on the water. That looked like a lot of fun on the wake board, makes me wish to be younger!!!!
Very Nice Halley,
Judging from the size of the wake, that must be a pretty big boat?
PS It also looks like when you are taking pictures, you need to take your mind off "sexy" and think of "composing pictures" lol :D
Love You!
Grandpa,
HAHAHAHAHA! You are funny. Yes, I did a horrible job on the pictures. I know. I'm ashamed of them. But then, I must blame the camera a little bit. And the rocking boat. Which wasn't all that big.
And thank you everyone else!
It's sad that you can't flip a video. It seems wrong that technology is so advanced, yet you can't do something that seems so simple.
