Prague! (take 2)

Okay, so here we go again, I promised my mom that I would get my pictures up before school started. I have them all online, but Im going to post one post a day until they are all on my blog.. even though school starts TOMORROW! Ahhhhhhh!

This picture was inside an elevator... not too special, but I thought it was cool.
This is the view from the Astronomical clock at the top of the elevator. I love the red tile roofs. They are beautiful.

Here is another view.. a self portrait, there is a church in the background.

The streets were way cool, but you didn't want to wear stilettos walking around Prague or you'd probably break your heel.

This was a statue right next to the old opera house that was still in use. Pretty cool.

This is Angela and me in the castle gardens. They were so pretty and had a lot of peacocks running around.

The gardens looked like there was frost on the grass, but they were just little flowers growing everywhere. I doubt they were weeds... they were pretty whatever they were.

Even though we were in Prague, we found these steps that reminded us of the Sound of Music, so we took a picture that looked like it could have come from the movie :)

I loved the little side streets, the buildings were always so close together and would have only let one carriage through. I wonder if they had one way streets back then too?

This was a cool arch that led to the castle from one of the bridges. I bought Ryan a shirt that looks kind of like this picture with a guy standing in it.

The architecture was really neat. This was common to them, but I thought it was beautiful.

My friends and I stopped in front of this door and decided to take pictures because it was so beautiful.. little did we know that it was still in use and someone opened it up and walked out when my friend was taking a picture. She thought she accidentally opened it her self and was scared to death.

Self portrait of the Moldau, you should go listen to the piece sometime. It is about the river and how it moves through the country.

The one-man-band on the bridge. He was pretty good at the instruments, but his voice was pretty funny. Mary Poppins anyone?

These churches could be found on every corner. They sure are religious out there... or at least, were religious.

This is the inside of one of the cathedrals we sang in in Prague, it was amazing how much went into them.
Here are a bunch of singer friends.. Emily, Clark, Tiffany, and me. We were freezing in the church. I don't believe they believed in heat. Brrrrr.

A bunch of singer friends sitting around a dinner that was prepared for us. The first thing they brought us was wine, and Dr. Allred had to send it right back. We weren't allowed to drink it even if we wanted to, University policy.

Well that's all for today... tomorrow there will be more, so stay tuned.

Awesome pics! I can live out my hope of going to Prague through your vacation. I will still continue to hope that I get there though. So I did read that you are starting school. I still want to get in touch to do some piano lessons, but this week may not be the best for you. Perhaps we could plan on starting the first week of September??? I'll call you in the next couple of days so we can hash out the details!
