Today I am in Ljubliana, Slovenia and tomorrow am off to Austria. Hello Sound of Music!! In the last few days I have been in Italy, and seen the Slavic Sea which was right above Italy in Slovenia. The water was so warm but sadly I didn´t have my swim suit :( So my feet got to enjoy it. The beach was all rocks, so my feet couldn´t stand it for too long.
We have been in and out of hostels and hotels and not staying in one place for more than a night since we left Croatia. It is very hot and humid here, though not as humid as Maryland can get. Im a little more used to it then some others who have never been outside of Utah. They seem to be dying, others love it. It is definitely good for our voices though.
We went to a cave today with stalagtites and stalagmites. I love caves. They are soo neat, and awe inspiring. It makes me want to go back to the ones I saw in Utah when I was little. It is amazing how huge the formations are when they take so long to form.
We learned some Slovinian folk songs to sing to the people here, and they have loved it so far. European audiances are great. I don´t know if any of you know what the Euro clap is, but they do it when they really enjoy our songs and we seem to get them all the time. It is when everyone in the audience claps together in tempo and sounds really cool.
I must say that I am excited for Austria tomorrow, I want to see those hills and just everything. Thankfully we are going to be there for 3 days, so ther´ll be plenty of time for sight seeing.

Wooohooo!! I'm the first one to comment! That hasn't happened in a while! I don't think I'm ever heard of Slovenia before. I would love to go to Austria! It would be awesome! You better be taking ALOT of pictures! Especially of Austria, I want to see if it looks like it does in The Sound Of Music!!

Knowing that the Sound of Music was once your favorite you enjoy yourself. When you hear the audience clap like that it must bring tears to your eyes.
