Ryan and I have been in this new apartment since the end of June but I didn't want to post pictures until I had it mostly done.
These pictures are of Ryan and me cleaning the kitchen. We don't think they cleaned very much so we had them come look at the condition it was in, they ended up giving us a little refund because it was so bad.

Here are some pictures of the apartment all put together. Im actually pretty excited about how it turned out. I spent the evening hanging pictures and Ryan was really excited when he got home because of how nice it looked. :)
This is another view of the living room.
Here is a view farther away, our dining room, living room, and kitchen are all connected. I really like it because it is really open.
Here is the other side of the dining room, the door you see is a closet and the door that is cut off is to the outside.
This is a view of the other direction into the kitchen.
Here is a closer view of the kitchen. I have so much cabinet space that I have some that are half empty. My old apartment had so little that we couldn't open all our dishes, now we have room for those and more!! Id like to get drapes but that is low on the list of things to do, i'll just have to deal with the sun for now. It's only bad in the evening because this window faces west and thats where the sun goes down.
Here is the other side of the kitchen, I love having the open space this place provides us with.
This is the second bedroom to our apartment and needs work right now. I haven't decided what pictures to put up here yet because I am going to use it as my piano studio. I decided to start teaching voice lessons and piano lessons because the apartment is much bigger than our last and we wont be bothering many people as the room has two outside walls and we are the basement floor. So people above us, beware! I don't have any students yet but hope to when school starts. Oh and I must put that it is also the office because Ryan wont let me forget. Haha.
Here is the actual piano. It needs to be tuned but not too badly. I'll get it done as soon as I get someone calling for lessons.
Ryan's part of the room, the desk.. Just another view...
Here is the boring bathroom that still needs some decoration. We use the master bathroom for showering and everything else so we haven't had a need to put this one together. The bathtub doesn't have a shower and so (since there is no shower rod to put the shower curtain on and we can't use it to shower anyway) it isn't a priority and is low on the list of things to buy too. Hopefully we can get a rod soon though because it sure does look boring in there.

This is one of my favorite things about the apartment. Washer and dryer hookups!! Yay!! This is the first time we have had them and it sure has been nice! They are in a room in the hallway well hid with doors, so no one has to see them if we don't want them to. Ahh, clean clothes that I don't have to wash in a laundry mat or at the Kings house. What a blessing!!
Here is the master bedroom with the quilt that Sheila made for us.
Here is another view. Notice the picture brother Clark made for me, and of course the best one of all is the one that Grandma made for me above the bed.
Here is a different view of the bedroom of the other wall and the closet and Molly sitting there watching me wondering what in the world I am doing. By the way that is only half of the closet, Ryan has his half too.
Here is the master bathroom, much more used as you can tell. My big thing with this bathroom is that there is no counter space, sometimes when I get fed up with it I take my makeup into the other bathroom because I NEED more room!!
And here is the tiny little shower we use. I don't understand why they didn't just use the whole space and put in a tub with a shower, but whatever. It works.
And finally, here is a picture of the outside of the apartment complex. We live in the basement of course which makes it stay pretty cool in the summer, and we're hoping pretty warm in the winter. We really like the place so far, it is right in between both of our jobs and therefore very convenient. We are very happy with our choice and hope you like it!

Yep very nice Halley. It is fun to see what you are doing. Looks like you have been busy making a house a home. Maybe I can come see it when I come to Utah on the 19th. I will be there until the 9th of september.
Those apartments look very similar to the ones my sisters used to live in. Wouldn't that be funny if they were the same ones :)
The aparment looks great! Very clean and comfy ;)
